Note that good Q3A players can by strafejumping and circlestrafejumping techniques get up to speeds nearly the double of the basic runspeed. And jump much farther than the basic jump length.
Best way to check how your map details scales versus the players is by typing in console:
cg_thirdperson 1
when using sv_pure 0 and devmap. Then cg_thirdpersonrange controls the camera distance from the player model and cg_thirdpersonangle controls the viewing angle, it defaults to straight behind.
