GtkRadiant for mac

Hello...sorry about my handwriting .... I do this through google translator ... I have a problem with the program ... and downloaded from different pages of all the radiant internat, gtkradian, macradiant, versions 1.4, 1.5 etc ... get off excellent but when you open something strange happens ... Double click on the icon of radiant or gtkradiant .. as .... not open .. icon appears just as if you were abiuerto down and now ... and only seen this ... does not leave anything ... I tried all the mac of my house .. some have the snow leopard and the intel ... I do? and I'm going crazy ... I edit my maps of open sand .. and I am stuck in this .. Help me please

I'm not exactly sure what's happening, but make certain that you use a version from here and follow the leopard instructions near the bottom:

No matter which version you use, you need to make sure you download the game packs and install the ones you're going to be mapping for: http://www.redsaurus.net/macradiant/Pac ... taller.dmg

If you're trying to use radiant on an intel, make sure you download the intel version here: http://www.redsaurus.net/macradiant/Mac ... 4intel.dmg

i've got the same problem as peter (Macradient won't work when opened) and i have X11 installed (with the Xode package), i've got JK2, JA, Doom3, return to castle wolfenstein and Star Trek elite force packages installed. I'm working on an Imac G5 (PPC) running OS 10.4.11 and this problem happens both on 1.4 and 1.5. As i'm not able to locate the eventual logs (and even if i would, i couldn't read them), I can't find the source of the problem. Is it a known problem? Is there a way to "repair" this?

I don't have any experience running radiant under 10.4, but I know that with 10.5 you have to manually re-install the latest version of X11 after every security update from Apple. Something in those security updates back dates your X11 version so you need to keep re-installing it to keep radiant running.

I'm not sure what version of X11 works on 10.4, but using the latest found here works for 10.5.8.
